Welcome to
Airplants.com
My family has been cultivating and distributing Tillandsias for over 50 years. We take great pride in both our selection and quality. Airplants grow without soil by filtration feeding, absorbing all the nutrients that they need by absorbing particles in the air. All of our airplants are flowering varieties which produce vibrant blooms. They are easy to care for and very hardy, able to withstand a wide range of temperatures. These kinds of airplants do not need direct sunlight so are perfect for growing either indoors or outdoors. Since they do not need soil, they can be arranged in a endless variety of containers and displays for infinite creativity. Explore Our Collections

50+ Years of Airplant Expertise

I was raised in the airplant business. My family has been cultivating and selling airplants for over 50 years. We are experts at caring for our plants and ensure that each and every plant we send out is in excellent health and condition. Originally based out of New York State, we now do shows and events in New York, Massachusetts and Florida. Make sure to subscribe to our social media pages to stay up to date on our upcoming shows and events, where we sell unique garden pieces along with our standard array of tillandsia species.

Find Your Perfect Airplant

All of our airplant species are of the Bromeliad type. They give vibrant Bromeliad style flowers, and reproduce through self pollination, meaning that each plant is both male and female and is capable of reproducing on its own. Typically between 1-4 pups grow from the base of the mother plant but up to 7 can occur. Our selection is some of the hardiest species in the airplant kingdom and can withstand temperatures close to freezing and well over 100 degrees. They prefer indirect light so they are perfectly happy indoors near a window or outdoors under shade. A typical watering cycle would be a nice heavy drench once a week, but this can be adjusted for very dry or very humid climates. Overwatering is not a concern as they have naturally good drainage. Airplants can be arranged in any manner of containers and displays such as antique teapots, candlesticks, driftwood, gravel gardens and anything you can imagine. They can be perfectly matched for any rooms decor.
